Commercial HVAC Load Calculations
Block and zone-by-zone heating and cooling loads for equipment sizing, landlord approvals and permits.
Commercial load calculations establish how much heating, cooling and ventilation a space needs, zone by zone. Landlords ask for them before approving a tenant’s use, equipment suppliers need them to quote, and building departments expect them behind the mechanical drawings. We prepare them in three to five business days and can carry them into a full mechanical design.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the landlord want a load calculation?
To confirm that the tenant's use fits the capacity the base building provides, or to document how much more is needed. A sealed calculation settles the question.
Do you also select the equipment?
On request. The report can include equipment capacities and a recommended selection, or we can take it to a full mechanical permit set.
Have a project in design or permitting?
Send us the drawings you have, even if they are early. We reply within one business day with scope, fee and schedule.
