EV Charger Electrical Design
Service capacity check, feeders and branch circuits, load management and permit drawings for Level 2 and DC fast chargers.
EV charger installations are mostly an electrical capacity question: how many chargers the existing service can support, whether load management lets you add more, and what the utility needs to see before approving a service change. We run the load calculation, design the feeders and circuits, and prepare the permit drawings, in five to ten business days.

Frequently asked questions
Will my existing service support the chargers?
We check it first. Load management systems often let more chargers run on the existing service than a simple calculation suggests, and we design to the NEC provisions that allow it.
Do you handle the utility and incentive paperwork?
We prepare the drawings and load information the utility and incentive programs require, and coordinate with your installer on the application.
Have a project in design or permitting?
Send us the drawings you have, even if they are early. We reply within one business day with scope, fee and schedule.
