Who we are
Brunswick Engineering is a consulting engineering firm that designs the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems inside buildings and prepares the sealed drawings that get them permitted and built. Our work is concentrated in restaurants and commercial kitchens, retail and franchise stores, multifamily buildings, warehouses and industrial facilities, pharmaceutical offices and labs, and office fit-outs.
We started in 2019 in East Windsor, New Jersey, serving owners and architects in New Jersey and New York. As our clients' projects moved across state lines, our licenses followed. Today our engineers hold professional engineering licenses in 31 states and the District of Columbia, and we take projects anywhere in the country. We serve clients nationwide. Where we do not yet hold a license, we deliver the project with an associated licensed professional engineer as engineer of record, and our team runs the design. A franchise brand, a developer or a national contractor works with one firm from the first location to the last.

Credentials
Our staff includes registered professional engineers, LEED Accredited Professionals and a Certified Energy Manager, supported by design engineers and Revit and CAD technicians. Brunswick Engineering is a certified Minority Business Enterprise.
How we work
All four trades, one team
Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection are designed in-house on one coordinated set, so the duct, the pipe, the conduit and the sprinkler main have been reconciled before the contractor finds the conflict.
Permit sets that pass
We design to the code edition the plan examiner enforces, name the codes on the drawings, and answer comments ourselves. Fewer resubmissions means a faster permit.
Answers in a business day
Proposals, RFIs and plan review responses have stated turnarounds, and we keep them. Construction schedules depend on engineers who answer.
One firm, nationwide
Professional engineers licensed in 31 states and DC, and associated licensed partners where we are not, so a multi-site owner or a franchise brand works with one firm and one standard everywhere.
